Through faith, men created the gods and the gods then shaped Man. In time, men outgrew the gods, taking their power and protection.
The weakened gods were no longer able to stop the Titanspawn, ancient enemies of both men and gods from trespassing on the Earth.
The one hope for both mortal and immortal are the Scions, born of both.
OK, this entire campaign is a test of White Wolf’s Scion, the RPG where you are a literal demigod, the offspring of a mortal human and immortal god of myth.
I have not got to GM Scion but my reading of the reviews state that Scion is a very uneven game whose strengths outweigh its flaws. The greatest strength of the game is its high concept, ancient mythology in a modern world. The biggest flaw of the game would the rules, the imbalances of powers and the underdeveloped aspects of the Scion setting.
For now, I am going to stick primarily with the core book of Hero but I will accept all of the official pantheons, as well as most of the fan-made pantheons.
I do enjoy the World War II background established in the Scion companion so I will probably be starting with that…
